My name is Denise, and I am an anglophone (South African) living in France who has extensive experience as an english teacher, nanny and aupiar. i am a warm, kind, patient person who loves exploring her creative side with children.

Here in France, I have taught english in creche to 2&3 year olds: storytelling, flashcrad, music, puppet shows, crafts, and many other sensory activities inclusding outdoors, luanch & naptime, potty training. looked after two boys aged 9 and 6 for all of 2020- 2021 year, which included taking them to music lessons, swimming lessons, homework, trips to the museums parks and other activities at home, I was responsible for their bath and dinner as well. I have known them since 2019 because I looked after them for a few weeks that summer and on occasion after that. I recently looked after two young children aged 3 and 4 whom I was also teaching English, doing crafts and other games at home. To prepare for that i spent 200 hours working in preschool with children aged 1- 3 years old and also completed a first aid course. I became an au pair for a 14-month-old baby for a year before i began my corporate career

I have a younger, lots of nieces, nephews and small cousins and loved spending time with them doing excursions like going to the zoo, theme parks or picnics at the park, children have always been a huge part of my life.I was an au pair in South Africa while i was a student. .

I am now pursuing Doctorate studies Part-time (I only have classes one weekend a month).I love traveling and experiencing new places and cultures, hence i moved to France to study further and build a new life in foreign country. I love volunteering in my church and being part of community outreach programmes. Ministering to other brothers and sisters in Christ. Playing golf (which i did a lot in South Africa and miss a lot now).

I am looking for an opportunity to look after small children, with an understanding that I would also play a role in their growth and development. All of which help shape who they become in society and as individuals.
