Proficient English Language teacher with over 10 years experience and competency in various education environments. I maintain a pro-active, ambitious and flexible approach to work. I am self motivated and results-driven with a background in Education and youth development. I have tutored and co-ordinated various successful teaching projects. My Passion and motivation is to guide the next generation into realising and achieving their full potential.

I am currently studying a course on Family Engagement in Education from Harvard University Online. Which I hope will further my understanding of home teaching dynamics and importance of family being active in their children’s learning.

I hold a certificate in Safeguarding Children and Awareness of Child Abuse as well as a BA Hons degree in Education, Culture and Society
from Goldsmiths University in London.

I am fortunate to have known from an early age that I wanted to be an educator. Knowing this early on I’ve gained a multitude of experience in a short amount of time. I’ve worked with varying age groups of children in a number of different teaching roles. From helping 17-18 year old college students with their English school assignments to babysitting young toddlers here in Paris.

One of my most joy filled and memorable achievements was working with family here in Paris, where the children didn’t speak any English at all. But after a couple of years with me the children became fluent and could interact with English.

Another achievement was at a Primary School in London. I was tasked with delivering an after-hours English club to a small group of 7-8 year olds who weren’t doing as well in class. In the few months I worked there I successful managed to boost attainment levels up back to the National Curriculum level.
