Hey my name is Jess! As part of my Masters in Neuropsychology I am currently doing an internship in San Sebastián at the BCBL. I have worked as a babysitter for more than 10 years by now. During my high school years I worked mostly in the afternoon and evening. After graduating I spend 9 months in New Zealand working as an Au Pair for a 1 year old girl. Since then I have continued looking after children when my studies allowed it. I have most experiences with children under 3 years, but I have also looked after children in the age of 4-12. I also have some experience in taking care of mentally and physically disabled children as I have worked for the´Behindertenwerk´, an institution that helps families in need to find support for daily life.
Babysitting for me is not just a job. I very much enjoy spending time with little humans and watch them grow up and constantly learn new things. It is equally challenging and fulfilling to have the responsibility of looking after young children. In general, I am a very responsible and open-minded person. I love being outside in nature, hiking, climbing or just enjoying a nice day in the sun.
