I am Samantha, I have varied experience working with children from professional to family.
My professional childcare career includes, working with children in a nursery setting, which included monitoring milestones and encouraging children to learn through play. These ages ranged typically from 6 weeks to 4 years.
Another professional aspect was working with children in an after school club arrangement, where I was a club leader. Pyramid Club empowers children who are having difficulties dealing with the social aspects of school life, including shyness, mutism and ADHD. Providing the children with a safe school based club encouraged them to grow within a familiar environment.
I also have Child Protection certificates and GCSE level training in childhood development. I have also worked with children in a Contact Centre, so I am aware of personal and professional boundaries set by parent or carers and how to develop my care style in order to respect them.
