In my final year of high school, I helped teach and supervise younger drama classes which I found to be both a very fun and also very fulfilling experience. There were two classes that I taught, one had children aged 11/12, and the other had children aged 14/15. I helped them sort out conflicts, brainstorm ideas, and give performance feedback. It was so fulfilling to help these children work towards a final product that they would be proud of and I learned that different children need different levels of attention and it is important to approach helping each child in a manner that is unique to their skills and confidence. My years of drama experience/teaching experience has allowed me to learn allsorts of fun games. I have an excellent grasp on human emotion and am able to handle people with more challenging personality traits due to my experience in retail and also growing up with an autistic brother. I think that to live a full and enjoyable life, it is crucial to help others in any way you can.
